In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to program, operate, and maintain advanced milling equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet rigorous engineering standards. Responsibilities Program and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture complex parts with high precision. Conduct thorough quality inspections on finished materials and structures to ensure compliance with design specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or programming issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. Interpret complex technical drawings and assembly instructions to execute precise machining sequences. Maintain a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and process optimization. Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with engineering and production teams. Uphold strict safety standards and promote a culture of operational excellence on the shop floor. Qualifications Required Skills Completion of a formal machine shop or tool technology certification program. Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and mathematical calculations. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex mechanical problems independently. Proven track record of maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced production setting. Preferred Skills 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or precision machining. Completion of a recognized machinist apprenticeship. Experience with welding or advanced drafting software. Strong computer literacy and familiarity with modern manufacturing control systems.
