The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines ranging from lathes and mills to CNC spinning machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Perform CAM programming to optimize machine performance and efficiency. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for accurate part production. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members in the warehouse for efficient workflow and material handling. Skills Proficiency in CNC operation with a solid understanding of tooling and machining processes. FANUC robotic arm operating experience Experience with CAM programming is preferred. Strong knowledge of quality control methods and practices. Familiarity with GD&T principles for precise manufacturing. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
