Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining, blueprint reading, and CNC programming will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery in a fast-paced factory environment, contributing to the creation of high-quality products that serve various industries. Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring precise execution of complex machining tasks using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other relevant systems, adjusting parameters for optimal performance. Perform routine inspections of machined components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to ensure specifications are met. Maintain machine tools including tooling changes, calibration, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the manufacturing facility, utilizing forklifts and other materials handling equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members on fabrication, assembly line processes, and quality assurance to meet production targets. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC milling machines with a solid understanding of CNC programming, preferably with Fanuc controls. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in manufacturing environments involving machining, fabrication, welding, and tooling. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings with GD&T standards. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programs for part design review. Experience working with CNC lathe machines, press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses is a plus. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, and basic math skills for precise measurements. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers for quality control purposes. Warehouse or factory experience involving materials handling, packaging, assembly lines, or fabrication processes is desirable. Valid certification or training in forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory. Join us if you're passionate about manufacturing excellence!
