In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain a variety of machining equipment to produce precision metal components. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines, ensuring precise execution of complex parts based on detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Perform manual machining tasks using hand tools, grinders, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to achieve tight tolerances. Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibrating equipment for optimal performance. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements. Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools to verify dimensions and ensure adherence to specifications; document inspection results thoroughly. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manual machining techniques including lathe work, grinding, and use of hand tools. Familiarity with Master Cam, CNC Mill Fadal, CNC Lathe Durga Femco, and Fanuc Control systems. Knowledge of measurement techniques involving calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments for quality control purposes. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances necessary for precise machining operations. Experience with a manual lathe is required.

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
