Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, with a keen understanding of precision manufacturing processes. This role requires expertise in operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines, as well as proficiency in reading specs and utilizing precision measuring instruments. We are a contract manufacturing machine shop sought after by companies creating intricate and complex parts. The ability to maintain close tolerances and achieve high finish standards are imperative to our quality standards. Candidates with general quality assurance experience are preferred. This position is Day Shift, Monday through Friday. Duties Set-up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications and tight tolerances. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes. Proficient in the operation of CNC milling machines and lathes. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation accurately. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. Knowledge of tooling and setup procedures for various machining operations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Solid understanding of quality assurance practices.
