We manufacture our own high-performance off-road products as well as precision aerospace and job-shop components. We're looking for a skilled machinist who can independently set up and run CNC equipment while working closely with our Shop Supervisor and Quality Department to produce accurate, high-quality parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including tooling, workholding, and offsets Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools Make tooling and offset adjustments to maintain tolerances and part quality Troubleshoot setup and machining issues Work closely with the Shop Supervisor and Quality Department to address production and quality concerns Accurately complete Travelers and setup documentation Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications 3+ years of CNC setup experience Ability to independently set up and run CNC jobs Strong blueprint-reading and precision measurement skills Experience with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls please 5-axis experience is a plus Aerospace or job-shop machining experience is a plus Working knowledge of GD&T Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent required; CNC or technical training is a plus About 74Weld 74Weld designs and manufactures premium off-road and automotive components while also providing precision machining for aerospace and job-shop customers.
