10 hour shift, Day shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Position Summary XLR Industries is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce quality components. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in producing quality work, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn. Previous CNC experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic. Primary Responsibilities Operate CNC machining equipment. Load and unload parts, fixtures, and materials. Monitor machines during operation and identify potential problems. Perform routine tool changes and make basic machine or tool offsets as required. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment. Read and understand manufacturing drawings, dimensions, and tolerances. Verify parts meet quality requirements. Complete production and inspection documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance. Communicate production issues to supervisors. Assist with other manufacturing duties as needed. Qualifications CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math skills including decimals and fractions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, reach, and handle parts throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift and move materials.
