Job Description
Our Client is seeking a CNC Setup Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathe, Swiss, or milling machines in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, making program and offset adjustments, and using inspection tools to maintain tight tolerances. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts. Read blueprints and GD&T specifications accurately. Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and program edits as needed. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs. Support maintenance, safety, and lean production practices. Qualifications CNC setup and operation experience required. Familiarity with Fanuc or similar controls preferred. Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills. Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, and machining fundamentals. Forklift experience and lean manufacturing exposure are a plus.
