Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with expertise in 5-Axis machining. The successful candidate will be tasked with setting up, running, and fine-tuning CNC machinery to manufacture top-notch components with little oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) according to provided blueprints. Adjust machine settings and address issues with controllers, machines, and procedures. Choose the right tools and adjust feeds and speeds to meet production targets. Use precision tools to inspect machined parts for quality assurance. Work autonomously and uphold efficiency standards. Occasionally lift items weighing up to 70 lbs. Keep work area tidy, including tools, machinery, and equipment. Monitor tool inventory and reorder supplies when needed.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. 8-10 years of experience in CNC Machining (Lathe) with proficiency in CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathe setup and operation. Preferably, background in Aerospace industry.
