CNC Operator - Monroe CT

Job Description

Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Operator Monroe , CT. Fast Growing Company Weekly Pay Temp to Perm Assignment As a CNC Operator you will: Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment according to work instructions. Load materials, tools, and programs; select proper fixtures and cutting tools. Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments Monitor machine performance and make offsets or minor adjustments to maintain quality. Inspect parts throughout production and document results accurately. Identify equipment or quality issues and escalate problems promptly. This is a Full-time Temp to Perm opportunity. 2 nd Shift 3 pm - 11:30 pm The ideal CNC Operator candidate will have: High school diploma or GED. Previous CNC machine operation or related machining experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and understand basic machining symbols and tolerances. Working knowledge of precision measuring tools. Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete production documentation. Experience with CNC setup, tool changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting. Familiarity with G-code or common CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak. Experience in a production or precision-manufacturing environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.

Pay Rate:

$25 - $30 Per Hour
