Company:
Electro-Methods, a Stronvar Aerospace Company Overview The CNC Milling Operator performs precision machining operations using CNC milling machines to produce complex aerospace components within the Lean manufacturing flow line at Electro-Methods. Operators ensure parts meet exacting dimensional and quality requirements while supporting the continuous movement of materials through the production process.
This role supports:
Creation of standard work Maintaining standard work Training and coaching of standard work Improvement of standard work Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines. Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements. Monitor machining processes and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments. Maintain documentation in accordance with aerospace quality standards. Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives. Operate other equipment in the cell as necessary to keep product flowing at takt. Required Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of CNC milling experience. Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools. Additional Information Preferred Qualifications Aerospace machining experience. Experience with multi-axis milling equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Occasional lifting of 40-50 lbs. Manual dexterity required for handling small precision parts. Work Environment Precision machining environment with exposure to machine tools, cutting fluids, and production equipment. Application Process Qualified candidates may via the career site.
