Our client is in need of a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist who is proficient in 5-Axis machining. The successful candidate will be tasked with the setup, operation, and adjustment of CNC machines to ensure the production of top-notch components.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and run CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) based on blueprint requirements. Troubleshoot machine controllers, processes, and machinery, and make necessary adjustments. Choose suitable tools and configure feeds and speeds to meet production needs. Inspect machined parts with precision tools to guarantee quality standards are met. Work autonomously and maintain efficiency with minimal oversight. Handle weights of up to 70 lbs. when required. Keep work area clean, organized, and well-maintained, including tools and equipment. Monitor tool inventory and place orders as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or
GED. 8-10
years of experience in CNC Machining (Lathe) with expertise in CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathe setup and operation. Preference for candidates with a background in aerospace.
