CNC MILLING MACHINIST - SETUP & OPERATOR
Aerospace Defense Power Generation

Industries is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist with full setup and operation capability . This role is ideal for a machinist who takes ownership of setups, works to tight tolerances, and values consistent, first-shift hours. We machine large-diameter, tight-tolerance components in high-performance alloys for critical Aerospace, Defense, and Power Generation applications. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC Milling machines independently Handle complete setups including tooling, offsets, workholding, and program verification Machine high-temperature and high-performance alloys Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CNC programs Produce first-article parts and maintain tight tolerances throughout the run Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring tools Make minor edits to CNC programs at the machine as needed Maintain machine condition and comply with all safety requirements Shop & Schedule Details First shift only: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime available CNC Mill machining centers range from 3 axis to 5-Axis capabilities. Clean, organized, safety-focused shop environment What We're Looking For Demonstrated experience setting up and operating CNC Mill's Comfortable working independently on large-part setups Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills Experience with high-temp alloys is a plus (training available) Experience with 5-Axis machining centers is a plus Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-driven Team-oriented with a professional shop mindset What We Offer Highly competitive compensation (based on experience) Sign-on bonus Full-time, stable employment Benefits package Long-term growth in Aerospace, Defense, and Power Generation manufacturing A shop culture that values precision over production pressure About C.V.
