Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the creation of precision components used across multiple industries. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Program CNC equipment utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and G-code to optimize machining operations. Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Operate auxiliary manufacturing equipment including press brake machines, stamping presses, fabrication tools, and tooling setups. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling materials with forklifts or other materials handling equipment. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and perform basic maintenance on CNC machinery as needed. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience working with CNC machinery or machining processes. Hands-on knowledge of Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CAM programming is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or similar tools. Experience operating various manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, stamping presses, welding tools, and fabrication machinery. Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and basic math skills for quality checks and assembly tasks. Previous warehouse or materials handling experience is a plus for efficient workflow management. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
