This role is critical to producing precision-engineered components for the defense industry, where quality, consistency, and attention to detail directly impact performance in real-world applications. This is not a standard production role—we are looking for professionals who understand the importance of tight tolerances, material integrity, and mission-critical quality. What You'll Do Set up, program, and operate CNC waterjet cutting systems with precision Cut and process ballistic-grade materials including ceramics, composites, and specialty substrates Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files accurately Optimize machine parameters for cut quality, efficiency, and material performance Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure strict quality standards Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues proactively Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and handling protocols What We're Looking For Proven experience operating CNC waterjet machinery (WardJet or similar preferred) Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files Experience with CAD/CAM software is a strong plus Experience working with high-performance or technical materials preferred High attention to detail and commitment to precision manufacturing Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Reliable, disciplined, and team-oriented What Sets You Apart Experience in defense, aerospace, or ballistic manufacturing Familiarity with ceramics, UHMWPE, composites, or armor systems Advanced CNC programming and process optimization skills Experience working with high-performance materials or tight tolerances A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement Compensation & Growth $22 - $30 per hour, based on experience and skill level Higher compensation available for candidates with advanced programming expertise Opportunity to grow within a high-performance manufacturing team Stable, full-time position with long-term potential Location Miami, Florida Position Type Full-Time Who We Are We are a precision manufacturing organization operating in the defense industry, committed to delivering high-performance solutions for those who rely on them.
