We are seeking a Detail-Oriented CNC Machinist who thrives in the realm of high-precision micromachining-someone who views a blueprint not just as a set of instructions, but as a challenge to achieve perfection.

salary:

$20 - $23 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30

No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Machine Setup & Operation:

Perform full setups on CNC mills and/or lathes. This includes mounting, installing, and aligning tools, attachments, and fixtures.

Precision Measurement:

Measure finished workpiece dimensions using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, templates, and height gauges to ensure 100% conformance.

Technical Interpretation:

Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans (GD&T knowledge is often required).

Process Monitoring:

Monitor machine performance to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or tool offsets as needed.

Maintenance:

Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as checking fluid levels (coolant/oil) and cleaning chips/debris from machines.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate production logs and quality records to ensure traceability, which is critical for ITAR and aerospace standards.
