Full Job Description Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes and 5 axis mill to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of dimensions
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including lathes and mills
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
• Ability to fabricate parts using machine shop tools
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
