This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in precision, quality, and maintaining high production standards in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Operate CNC routers to cut and machine MDF, laminate, and wood components Load materials, set up jobs, and verify correct programs before running Perform first-piece inspections to ensure accuracy and quality Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Maintain consistent production output to meet daily targets Track production, scrap, and downtime accurately throughout the shift Perform routine machine cleaning and daily maintenance (tooling, rails, dust removal, etc.) Identify and troubleshoot issues with materials, tooling, or machine performance Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards) What We're Looking For 2+ years of CNC router experience (woodworking, MDF, laminate preferred) Ability to read cut lists, work orders, and basic drawings Experience with tool changes, bit selection, and machine setup Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) accurately Basic understanding of feeds, speeds, and material behavior Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment Team player with good communication skills Preferred (Not Required) Experience with nested-based manufacturing Familiarity with CNC programming or editing (G-code or CAM software) Experience in cabinetry, panel processing, or acoustic panel manufacturing Forklift experience What Success Looks Like Consistent daily production output aligned with targets Minimal scrap and rework Clean, well-maintained machine and work area Strong teamwork and communication with production staff Why Join Us Stable, growing company with consistent work Hands-on, team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow skills and take on more responsibility
