Job Description

CNC Operator Creative Plastics - Dalton, GA Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. The CNC Operator will work closely with team members to ensure parts are produced on schedule and within required tolerances while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines, including loading and unloading materials and ensuring parts are processed according to specifications Monitor machines during operation to ensure parts remain secure and are produced correctly Track completed parts and organize them for downstream production processes Produce required quantities of parts within established specifications and tolerances Read and follow production prints and engineering specifications Measure finished parts using precision tools to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain production logs, including records of rejected or discarded pieces Inspect machines prior to operation to ensure proper setup and alignment Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance as needed Work with maintenance personnel on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and safe Stack and organize bulk items and materials for production Verify materials and packaging match work order requirements Report damaged parts or replacement needs to supervision Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals
Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and technical documentation Experience using precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on tasks and commitments Understanding of basic machine operation and manufacturing processes Ideal for someone who is: Enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment Is highly detail-oriented and takes pride in producing quality parts Works well with a team to meet production goals and deadlines Is dependable, organized, and safety-focused Can stay focused and productive in a fast-paced production setting Marketing Alliance Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
