Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Woodworking CNC Operator and play a vital role in producing high-quality wooden components with precision and efficiency. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines, and other fabrication tools. As a key player in our manufacturing facility, you will operate, program, and maintain woodworking CNC equipment to ensure seamless production flow, uphold quality standards, and contribute to the craftsmanship that defines our products. We're looking for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount. Responsibilities Set up and operate woodworking CNC machine to produce custom wood parts according to detailed blueprints and cut-list specifications. Program CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software like SolidWorks to optimize machining processes. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and fabrication instructions to ensure precise manufacturing. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and tooling to maximize operational efficiency and prevent downtime. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other mechanical tools to verify dimensions and quality of finished products. Handle materials safely within the manufacturing environment, including materials handling and packaging finished items for shipment or assembly. Conduct quality control checks throughout production using basic math skills and inspection tools to meet strict standards. Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production data, and inspection results in compliance with safety and quality protocols. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience working with woodworking or machining equipment is highly preferred. Hands-on experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses is advantageous. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in CNC programming is a plus. Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, CAD design software like SolidWorks, and CAM programming enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding techniques, and materials handling will support your growth in this position. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, welding equipment, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
Pay:
$15.00 - $26.48 per hour
