CNC Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with over two years of experience, specifically in 5-axis machining. The ideal candidate will excel in setting up, troubleshooting, and programming runs. This role involves programming your run, operating the part, and working on a new program while the part is running. The work is diverse, with projects varying and not repetitive in nature. Responsibilities Program CNC machines for 5-axis machining tasks. Set up and operate CNC machinery efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve programming and operational issues. Work on new programming tasks while parts are running. Adapt to varying project requirements and tasks. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years experience in 5-axis programming and operation. Proficiency in CNC machining and use of Mastercam. Experience with CATIA is preferred, though not mandatory. Strong skills in AutoCAD and programming software such as Aspire or Mastercam. Additional Skills & Qualifications A proactive and efficient work ethic is essential. Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a 15,000 square foot, temperature-controlled warehouse located in Garden City. While the environment is production-focused, a 2-3 week adaptation period is provided. Expect a fast-paced atmosphere once fully acclimated. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
