Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled CNC T echnician s for a leading manufacturing facility in Smyrna, GA . The ideal candidate brings strong CNC setup and troubleshooting experience on either mills or lathes, can read blueprint tolerances, and understands basic GD&T and G-Code/M-Code well enough to diagnose machine issues. Broad expertise in every area is not required; candidates with a solid technical foundation and the ability to work through problems are encouraged to apply. This is a direct hire opportunity! Pay Rate $22.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience Schedule and Hours 1st

Shift:

6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday-Friday 2nd

Shift:

2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday 3rd

Shift:

10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday-Thursday 12

B Shift:

6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Friday-Sunday 10

B Shift:

5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday-Thursday CNC Technician s Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot CNC mills or lathes to maintain production , dimensional accuracy, and quality standards.
• Read blueprints , interpret tolerance ranges, and inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine settings to keep parts within tolerance .
• Monitor production, perform quality checks, interpret common GD&T symbols, and work through machining issues.
• Train and support machine operators while communicating production concerns.
• Complete production documentation and maintain an organized work area.
• Support safety, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. CNC Technician s Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent .
• CNC setup experience is required, including adjusting tooling, offsets, or machine settings to keep parts within tolerance; machine-operation-only experience is not sufficient.
• Hands-on experience with either CNC mills or CNC lathes is acceptable; experience with both is not required.
• Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code sufficient to troubleshoot faults, identify simple movement commands, and communicate the relevant axis or program line; writing or hand-programming code is not required.
• Ability to read blueprints , understand tolerance ranges, recognize common GD&T symbols, and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
