In this role, you will operate a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC milling and turning machines. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production, adherence to safety standards, and efficient workflow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where precision and craftsmanship are valued. Merrirt increase after 90 days and 12 months from initial start date based off performance. Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery such as CNC mills and turning machines. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and interpret CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings for accurate machining processes. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to produce precise components. Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify part dimensions and quality standards. Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration to ensure consistent production quality. Conduct troubleshooting and minor maintenance on CNC equipment; escalate complex issues to maintenance or engineering teams as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper materials handling, use of hand tools, forklift operation when necessary, and adherence to factory safety guidelines. Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience programming and operating CNC milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines. Strong blueprint reading skills combined with knowledge of GD&T standards for precise manufacturing. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of fabrication processes such as welding, tooling setup, and materials handling. Knowledge of CAD software like SolidWorks for part design review and CAM programming for toolpath creation. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately. Factory experience in a manufacturing or machining environment emphasizing quality control and safety compliance.
