CNC Set Up Operator ACE Partners - 5.0 Elk Grove Village, IL Job Details Full-time $30 - $40 an hour Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Retirement plan Qualifications Inspection gauge Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Machine setup Blueprint specification interpretation Specialized industrial tools Fanuc Dimensional inspection Machining tool setup Dimensional measurements CNC quality inspection Attention to detail Precision measurement in machining Mechanical quality control procedures Data entry Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description up to $42 /hour CNC Set-Up Operator / Machinist (5-Axis Mills & Lathes) We are seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Operator/Machinist responsible for setting up and operating horizontal and vertical mills and/or lathes with minimal supervision in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (horizontal & vertical) Load, edit, and adjust CNC programs and tool offsets Run multiple machines and support production efficiency Manufacture/select tooling and fixtures as needed Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools Ensure all parts meet blueprint and quality standards Perform secondary operations (drilling, deburring, etc.) Maintain accurate production documentation and data entry Follow all safety, quality, and ISO/AS procedures Support and guide lower-skilled operators when required
Requirements:
Strong CNC set-up and machining experience (mills and/or lathes) Ability to read blueprints and work instructions Experience with tight-tolerance precision machining Ability to use precision measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and quality focus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
INDAD Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
