CNC Machinist Job Duties:

Set up and operate a variety of CNC equipment, including mills and lathes Experienced with the fixturing and machining of castings and welded fabrications Manage multiple tasks, adhering to strict deadlines and commitments Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables Operate machines to produce parts according to blueprints, work orders, or specifications. Perform first article inspections and make machine adjustments as needed. Adjust machine offsets to maintain part quality. Willingness to work overtime or shift work if needed.

Schedule:

2nd Shift Monday- Friday 4pm-12:30am Overtime opportunities - up to 55 hours/week

Pay:

$22-30/hour, based on experience and technical expertise CNC Machinist Job requirements: 5 years of experience operating CNC mills. Minimum 7 years preferred. Set up experience preferred. Familiarity with operating computer machinery; Fanuc/Mazak controls Lift up to 50 lbs. safely Must possess basic math skills to calculate weight and basic reading skills to read labels and work instructions Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, speeds, and feeds. High degree of attention to detail required. This Client who we are staffing for participates in the E-Verify program.
