The Skills You Need To Make the Cut High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred) Experience operating manual and/or CNC machines Ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols (preferred) Proficient with precision measuring tools Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and time management skills Ability to stand for extended periods Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and machinery How You'll Keep Production Moving You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery used to create precision components. You'll inspect your work with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, ensuring every part meets tight tolerances.
