CNC Setup Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $18.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm) Set up and operate Okuma CNC machines for production Load programs, make edits, and adjust tool offsets as needed Install and change tooling, including drills, taps, reamers, and boring bars Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues Monitor production, maintain machine performance, and meet production goals Complete routine machine maintenance and maintain quality documentation

CNC Setup Operator Qualifications:

Previous CNC setup experience required Okuma CNC experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience setting offsets and making program adjustments Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and quality standards Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Forklift experience is a plus Ability to lift parts and stand for the duration of the shift Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
