CNC Operator / Machinist (Haas VF-2) Taylor Customs - Jeffersonville, IN Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Taylor Customs, the custom firearm division of Orion Wholesale, is seeking a CNC Operator / Machinist (Haas VF-2) This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating our Haas VF-2 Vertical Machining Center to produce precision firearm components and custom machined parts. We are looking for a machinist who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is capable of taking a part from drawing or Fusion model through programming, setup, and final production . This role is Ideal for a machinist who wants to step in and help us build a machining operation from the ground up.

Compensation Range:

$20-30/hour Based on Experience Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate our Haas VF-2 Vertical Machining Center Create and modify toolpaths using Fusion 360 CAM Complete programming and setup from a technical drawing or Fusion 360 model Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and work holding methods Machine precision components with a high level of accuracy and consistency Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize machining processes Maintain a clean and organized machining environment Train and mentor new staff on the safe and efficient operation of CNC milling machines Requirements Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience Minimum 1 year of Fusion 360 CAM experience Experience operating Haas CNC milling machines (VF-series preferred) Ability to program, set up, and run parts independently Ability to read technical drawings and CAD models Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, speeds, and feeds High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM About Taylor Customs Taylor Customs is the custom firearm division of Orion Wholesale , specializing in precision machining, custom firearm components, and high-quality craftsmanship.
