3:48 PM- 11:48
PM Pay Rate:
$27.95 (or more depending on experience)Summary:
A successful CNC Operator- Lathe can safely and efficiently manufacture parts that meet all quality and safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently produce product that meets all quality parameters. Meet production requirements. You will be required to provide your own tools. Proven understanding of all machining principles. Understand the correlation between lead error and helix angles, and be able to adjust the machine accordingly. Ability to track and document die usage and evaluate die condition. Basic understanding of thread lead and helix angles. Possess effective measuring equipment utilization skills. Basic ability to monitor and measure products to ensure tolerance/specs adherence. Ability to troubleshoot machines as needed. Ability to keep scrap and rework at minimal levels as defined.Our Core Values:

Minimum Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED required. Sound mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of equipment and processes in the area of responsibility. Ability to read precision measuring equipment. Basic blueprint reading skills. Basic programming knowledge or experience. Basic set-up capabilities. Basic tooling knowledge. Basic understanding of feeds and speeds. Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience. Basic understanding of gearing terminology.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. #portlandSimilar remote jobs
