CNC Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The candidate will operate CNC machinery, focusing on production quotas without the need for setups or changeovers. The role requires overseeing 2-3 machines, gauging parts, and performing quality checks to ensure materials meet specifications. Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery efficiently and effectively. Maintain production quotas by managing 2-3 machines. Gauge parts and perform quality checks on materials. Utilize micrometers, calipers, and tape measures for accurate measurements. Ensure all materials are up to specifications. Function in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation, specifically CNC. Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Mechanical inclination and basic mathematics. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Experience in manufacturing or production settings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a lean manufacturing and KPI-driven company. Steel toe boots are required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a dynamic environment where we manufacture crucial components for first responders, such as hose connections, attachments, and monitors for fire trucks. With 80 employees in the machine operating department, you will be part of a team committed to safety and innovation. The company is proud of its first responder partnerships and community outreach programs. This role requires a Sunday to Thursday schedule, 11 PM to 7 AM, with the flexibility to work additional hours before or after shifts and optional work on Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
