CNC / Machine Operator

Description

Staff Management | SMX is currently seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to join our team at Link-Belt. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in operating and monitoring various machines and fabrication centers to produce precision, high-quality parts according to schedule. This is a full-time position in manufacturing, with competitive pay starting between $22.00 and $25.50 per hour. You will have the opportunity for four scheduled pay raises within your first year.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, to produce parts to precise specifications.
  • Load raw materials into machines and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
  • Use measuring tools and instruments to perform quality checks on finished parts.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings, tooling, and programs as needed to maintain optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Associate Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $22.00 - $25.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
