Contract to Direct Hire Job Description We're hiring CNC Operators for a busy, team-oriented manufacturing environment . This is a hands-on role working with CNC machines , drill presses , and engine lathes to produce precision components . This position is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience who is comfortable reading blueprints , working with precision measurement tools , and supporting day-to-day machining operations . Responsibilities Operate and monitor CNC machines , drill presses , and engine lathes Work from blueprints , work orders , and setup instructions Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Make basic machine adjustments ( offsets, wear, geometry ) Change tooling ( collets, inserts, tool holders ) Maintain coolant and oil levels Assist with bar stock handling , scrap , and shop upkeep Support basic setup and troubleshooting Maintain quality and production standards Requirements 1-3 years of CNC machining experience Ability to read and understand blueprints Basic understanding of CNC programs Experience using: Micrometers Verniers Plug, ring, and pin gages Fluent English required Able to work 2nd shift Preferred Experience Fanuc controls G-code programming Experience with Miyano , Mazak , or Haas machines Work Environment / Physical Requirements Manufacturing / machining shop environment Standing/walking up to 8 hours per day Ability to lift up to 45 lbs Job Disclaimer Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Pay:
