You will leverage your expertise in CNC programming and machine operation to ensure every part meets rigorous quality standards while optimizing production workflows. Responsibilities Interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T specifications to execute precise machining operations. Manage the full setup and operation of Swiss-style CNC lathes, including Tornos, Nakamura, and Star systems, to maintain consistent output. Perform real-time quality inspections using advanced metrology tools to guarantee adherence to strict tolerances. Optimize production cycles by adjusting offsets, managing tooling changes, and refining G-code/M-code logic. Drive operational efficiency by troubleshooting machine performance issues and implementing process improvements. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to maintain a high-functioning, organized, and safe shop floor environment. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in CNC machine setup and operation. Strong proficiency in reading and editing G-code and M-code. Expertise in interpreting technical drawings and GD&T requirements. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments for quality verification. Solid understanding of CNC tooling and machine logic. Preferred Skills Experience with automated bar feeding systems. Background in manual machining processes. Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
