Job Description

Description:
Machine Operations Load Parts:
Put raw cast iron materials into CNC machines and take finished parts out safely.
Change Tools:
Replace worn-out cutting tools when needed.
Adjust Machines:
Make minor machine tweaks to keep parts running at the right size. Help with
Setups:
Assist the Cell Technician when preparing a machine for a new job.
Quality & Tracking Measure Parts:
Use gauges to inspect parts and write down the measurement data.
Label Work:
Tag and identify all parts so inventory stays accurate.
Log Progress:
Enter your daily job and labor hours into our computer system (ERP). Teamwork & Safety Watch the
Pace:
Understand the work flow to keep production moving on time.
Speak Up:
Tell the Technician right away if you face safety, quality, or speed issues.
Heavy Lifting:
Lift and move parts weighing up to 40 pounds throughout the 12 hour day.
Keep Clean:
Keep your work area organized, tidy, and safe.
Requirements:
Basic Requirements Math Skills:
Know basic math, decimals, the metric system, and the Cartesian coordinate system (\(X, Y, Z\) grids).
Computer Skills:
Possess basic computer skills to input information and navigate systems.
Communication:
Have good communication skills to work well with others.
Work Style:
Able to multi-task and work alone with very little supervision.
Factory Work:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Quality & Blueprints:
Experience reading blueprints and working with quality/gaging systems.
Machining:
Mechanical aptitude and previous CNC machining experience.
Physical Requirements Standing:
Stand or stay in one area for long periods of time.
Movement:
Bend, stoop, reach, type, and write during the shift.
Lifting:
Able to lift parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
Other Expectations Safety:
Follow all safety rules and safely work around fast-moving factory equipment.
Schedule:
Willing to work overtime.
Teamwork:
Work well in teams.
Rules:
Complete all required job training and follow company policies.
