CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated second shift CNC Machine Set Up/Systems Technician for the second shift to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient setup, operation, and troubleshooting of various machinery used in our production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC and robotic equipment. This position requires operating automated assembly and CNC machining equipment. This position is requiring more set up, including maintenance to optimize and maintain optimal production. You'll be setting up, running and troubleshooting Set up and calibrate machinery including the automation equipment to meet production specifications. Program and troubleshoot CNC machines , will also be adjusting the equipment and doing final inspection of the parts and packaging the product. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Fanuc controls to ensure smooth machine operation. Conduct routine inspections Follow blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure parts meet design specifications. Perform basic math calculations related to machine settings, tolerances, and quality control. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to factory safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes. Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls, CNC programming, must be mechanically inclined and be responsible for the robot machines overall operation. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with quality control tools Knowledge of tooling setup Basic math skills for machine adjustments and quality verification. Hands-on experience with factory or manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities.
