Livonia About Us We are a premier, one-stop manufacturing provider for the Aerospace and Defense industries, specializing in high-precision components and custom assembly fixtures. Operating out of our newly expanded, state-of-the-art 24,000-square-foot facility, we are growing rapidly to meet the evolving needs of our loyal customer base. Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC professional to set up, program, and operate our CNC Mills. In this role, you will be responsible for taking parts from print to completion, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality required by the aerospace and defense sectors.
Key Responsibilities Setup & Programming:
Independently set up and program CNC Mills for complex, high-precision parts.
Material Management:
Select and optimize machining parameters for a diverse variety of materials.
Quality Control:
Inspect your own parts to guarantee 100% compliance with print specifications and tight tolerances.
Blueprint Reading:
Accurately interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to plan machining sequences.
Position Requirements Experience:
Minimum of a few years of proven experience programming and operating CNC Mills.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software is highly preferred.
Material Expertise:
Experience cutting various metal alloys and materials is strongly preferred.
Quality Focus:
Strong ability to use precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and execute self-inspection to print.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $35.00
