Job Description

About the Role As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in our production floor by ensuring the efficient operation of horizontal machining centers to meet high-quality output standards. You will be responsible for maintaining machine health, executing precise setups, and utilizing your technical expertise to optimize production workflows. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and operate CNC horizontal machining centers to achieve production targets. Manage the loading and unloading of fixtures, tooling, and programs to ensure continuous workflow. Perform real-time adjustments to cutting tools to maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality. Interpret technical blueprints and work instructions to ensure all components meet exact specifications. Utilize precision inspection tools, including micrometers and calipers, to verify part integrity. Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime. Document production data accurately to support process improvement and quality tracking. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform repetitive manual tasks. Preferred Skills Technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining. NIMS or equivalent industry-recognized machining credentials. Experience with horizontal machining center setups and program interpretation. Demonstrated ability to work with precision measuring instruments in a fast-paced environment.
