  • We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CNC Mill Turn Operator for our 2nd shift.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines and ensuring the production of high-quality parts by performing accurate machine adjustments. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical inspection, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate will be working with 5 Axis, Lathe, Calipers, Micrometers, Tool And Die, Mastercam, CMM, and Tooling.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc. Translate instructions into computer commands to ensure the machines can perform the correct function. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues. Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Mill Turn Operator or similar role in the engineering industry. Proven experience with 5 Axis, Lathe, Calipers, Micrometers, Tool And Die, Mastercam, CMM, and Tooling. Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, mathematics, and technical schematics. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards. Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime if necessary.
