Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Set-Up & Operator to set up, run, and troubleshoot CNC turning centers producing precision machined components to tight tolerances. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of hands-on CNC lathe experience, can read prints and work from setup sheets, and takes ownership of part quality from first piece through full production run. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes (Swiss-type and/or standard turning centers) for new and repeat production jobs Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and setup sheets, including GD&T callouts Select and load proper tooling, offsets, and programs; perform first-article inspection and adjust as needed Edit CNC programs at the control level to correct offsets, tool wear, and minor process issues Inspect parts in-process using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools Monitor machine performance and proactively address tool wear, chip control, and cycle time issues Complete required quality documentation in line with

2015 procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop 5S standards Communicate job status, quality concerns, or material issues to the Production Manager and team leads Train or mentor junior operators as needed Qualifications 2-5 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes in a precision machining environment Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T fundamentals Working knowledge of Fanuc or similar CNC controls; able to make program edits and offset adjustments Proficient with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges) Experience with bar-fed lathes and/or Swiss-type machines preferred Basic math skills (geometry, trigonometry) sufficient for setup and inspection work Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs as needed Reliable, accountable, and able to work well within a team-oriented shop culture High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school machining certificate a plus Join us in creating high-quality machined components with precision craftsmanship! Pay:

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
