CNC Machine Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a solid understanding of machining processes. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other related equipment to produce precision parts. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. Perform CNC programming and CAM programming as needed for various projects. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality. Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards. Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow. Handle materials safely, including loading/unloading materials using forklifts when necessary. Follow all safety protocols within the manufacturing facility. Skills Proficient in CNC programming and operation, including experience with Fanuc controls. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their applications in manufacturing. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Experience with flexo presses, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining and assembly. Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks for design purposes. Ability to utilize hand tools effectively for assembly tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standards.
