Opportunity:

Atlas Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturer of machined and assembled components using the CNC machine technologies including Swiss CNC, Mori Seiki Lathes and Mills. Our client is looking for experienced milling and lathe operators to operate and maintain CNC equipment. As a CNC Mill Operator and Programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to troubleshoot any machine issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

What You'll Be Doing:

Operate Swiss-Tsugami and Citizen-Multi Turret Lathes:

Nakamura Operate CNC multi-turret lathes and related production equipment safely and efficiently. Load raw materials and unload finished parts according to production requirements. Monitor machine performance and make minor offsets or adjustments as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and other inspection tools. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, routers, and process documentation. Replace tooling and maintain proper coolant and lubrication levels. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. What makes you a great fit: High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of CNC lathe operating experience preferred. Experience with multi-turret CNC lathes strongly preferred. Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T concepts. Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of CNC controls and machine offsets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good communication and problem-solving skills .
