Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator (Training Provided)

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM Job Description This entry-level CNC Machine Operator position offers hands-on training in a small shop environment, starting with basic honing equipment and progressing into CNC grinding.
You'll build skills in machine operation, setup, and precision measurement while working alongside experienced machinists. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who wants to grow into a long-term CNC machining career. Responsibilities Operate honing machines to finish metal parts to specification Assist with and learn machine setups under supervision Inspect parts using measurement tools to ensure quality and accuracy Train on CNC grinding machines and gradually take on more complex tasks Transition into CNC grinding as the primary responsibility once trained Monitor machines, identify issues, and make necessary adjustments Follow all work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine equipment cleaning Collaborate with team members to improve skills and productivity Support additional machining operations as needed Required Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in CNC machining Ability to follow detailed instructions and learn new processes Willingness to work primarily with CNC grinding equipment after training Basic understanding of manufacturing or fabrication environments Ability to learn and use measurement tools Reliable attendance and punctuality High attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualifications Prior CNC or fabrication experience (not required) Experience using basic shop tools Interest in building a long-term career in machining Comfortable working in a traditional machine shop environment Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00
  • $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
