Full Job Description General Description:
Set up and operate
CNC Machining Centers Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Proficient in the operation of a Makino CNC Machining Center (Setup & Operation) Edit CAM programs/offsets (at machine control or desk top computer) Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Use various measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Shadowgraph, CMM etc.) Proficient in reading, understanding and machining from CAD drawings Assemble molds Preform and document in‐process inspection Lift and carry op to 50 pounds on a regular basis Work while standing extended periods of time Regular and consistent attendance
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
Keep machine area neat and orderly Operate manual machining centers (Bridgeport, Drill Press, Lathe, Surface Grinders, etc.) Operate machine shop hand equipment (Drills, Hand Grinders, Cut Off Saw, etc.) Polishing Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Two (2) years Technical College 3‐5 years of Toolmaker and CNC Mill setup experience Good math skills/Trig.
