CNC Machine Operator

About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings and programming (G-code and M-code) will be crucial to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications, ensuring minimal downtime. Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to determine the appropriate machining parameters. Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for complex repairs. Optimize machining processes to improve part quality, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical degree or certification program in machining. Demonstrated experience as a CNC Machinist/Operator. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files. Solid understanding of G-code and M-code programming. Preferred Skills Experience with CNC Swiss Lathes and multi-axis machines. Familiarity with GD&T principles and practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
