Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in a multi-purpose sheet metal fabrication role. This position is responsible for the fabrication, finishing, and assembly of sheet metal products and components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, detail-driven, and eager to learn and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety protocols and report any safety concerns. Meet quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction; identify and report nonconformities. Accurately track time and job costing using company software systems. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise dimensions, angles, and tolerances. Perform sheet metal fabrication using tools and equipment such as shears, press brakes, rollers, hoists, cranes, and laser or plasma cutters. Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal into required forms. Assemble parts and components using riveting and fastening techniques. Verify finished products meet specifications using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures. Perform routine operator maintenance on equipment and tools. Build crates and packaging using hand tools (hammers, nail guns, saws, drills, etc.) to ensure safe transport of finished products. Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and production issues. Troubleshoot and communicate any issues that arise during fabrication. Maintain 5S standards and support waste reduction initiatives. Demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Remain flexible and willing to learn new skills; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience with powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) preferred. Ability to read and use measuring devices (to 1/16" increments). Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Excel. Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred, but willingness to learn is essential.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
