Job Description
Maztech Industries — We are a technology company specializing in rapid development of Military and Commercial optical systems: Night Vision, Laser Warning and Identification, Ranging, and associated capabilities. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Machinist who will be a part of every aspect of the product's development. We value people, integrity, ideas, and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide machining support for production tooling, components, and engineering development parts. Continuously monitor machine tools and equipment to ensure safe operation and production of quality parts. Adjust machines according to dimensional for non-conformity. Deburr parts while the machine is operating. Check parts and record measurements using micrometers and calipers. Understand and read production drawings and product requirements. Participate in the selection of machine tools and shop equipment. Report machine malfunctions and safety hazards. The ideal candidate is clearly passionate about new opportunities and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and strong communication skills are absolute requirements.Minimum qualifications:
2-3 years of experience operating Haas CNC including mills, lathes, grinders, band saws, etc. Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-project, multi-deadline, prototyping environment Proficient with 3-axis machining of complex parts with tight tolerances and developing custom fixtures, to support fabrication, as required Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills to come up with most efficient method of producing parts Familiar with metrology and various measuring instruments for part inspections Preferred qualifications: Proficient with CAD/CAM software Experience with 5-axis CNC machining Experience working with 3D printersJob Type:
