Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This position in Lincoln, NE requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently on 2nd shift. Candidates should have hands-on experience with CNC equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting. Initial training will be provided on 1st shift.

CNC Set-Up Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and job specifications
• Monitor machine performance and ensure parts meet quality standards
• Make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability Requirements for

CNC Set-Up Operator:

• Previous experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes required
• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable with strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
