Job Description

K Logix Talent is recruiting for a precision-machining shop seeking dependable CNC talent. This opportunity involves milling and turning work, reading engineering drawings, inspecting parts and editing existing machining programs. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines and lathes safely and accurately. Read engineering drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances and machining requirements. Edit G-code and existing programs within your responsibilities. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers and other appropriate measuring tools. Monitor tool wear, surface finish and dimensional accuracy throughout production. Recognize machining problems and communicate them promptly. Work with the senior machinist who currently handles machine setups. Maintain an organized work area and follow shop safety procedures. Maintain consistent attendance, arrive ready to work and stay productive throughout the shift. Required qualifications Previous hands-on CNC machining experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools. Working knowledge of G-code and experience editing existing programs. Ability to follow machining instructions and check your own work. Dependable attendance and clear communication. Availability for the advertised schedule and overtime. Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience is a useful starting point. Candidates with more extensive machining experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
