• Hands-On Technical Role Responsibilities of the CNC Laser Machine Operator Set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut, etch, or pierce metals Monitor operation and adjust machine as needed Interpret blueprints, production orders, and specifications and inspect finished work with measuring tools to ensure parts meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards Align, fit, and/or rework pieces that fail inspection Perform routine maintenance on the laser Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Assist team with other tasks as assigned Qualifications of the CNC Laser Machine Operator High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience operating a laser or similar metal-cutting machine Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Manual dexterity Ability to work in a standing position for up to 6 hours, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.
