Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be proficient in operating CNC milling machines. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications and blueprints. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to ensure accurate machining. Set up and adjust machine tools, including tool changes and offsets, as needed. Conduct regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on production schedules and workflow improvements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the training of junior operators as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility. Proficiency in CNC programming, including knowledge of Fanuc controls and CAM programming software such as SolidWorks. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Experience operating various machinery, including CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Competence in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Experience with hand tools, assembly line work, materials handling, fabrication, tooling, welding, and quality control processes is preferred. Previous factory or warehouse experience is an advantage.
